Default Transmission overfill

Hi. Im working on a 2016 journey that has way (2x almost) to much atf. Car will not go into any gear. If i give it a lot of gas it wants to go. There is a screaching upon cold startup . there are a lot of dtc's. (Ill post screenshot). Is this a new transmission deal or ?? Thx

If it's overfilled, thats the logical thing to do....

Drain it and look for metal shavings.

Drained it. Its burnt and glittery. Started the car and the strange screaching was not as bad as b 4. Put it in gear and nothing till i brought up the rpm's to 4 or 5k then a screach and it wanted to engage. Reverse did same thing at 4 or 5k rpm. Then it didnt even want to engage after that.. ?

Sounds like a transmission failure.
