Journey2010 RT battery drain continues
HELP!
I had a jump two years ago after that, the car went down hill.....Horn started randomly going off when car was turned off or driving. I removed Horn fuse.
The battery will not hold a charge.
The labor to put in the battery is as much as the battery or close. The battery is under the drivers wheel. It is my 3rd battery and second alternator in 14 months. I am exhausted with this issue but don't want to sell for a lose. It may be a simple fuse problem. I have had it at the Dealership that I bought it at new (no answer) 3 other repair shops. Everything from Bluetooth drain, the electrical outlet in back staying on, radio drain.....
I have been told to do a parasitic drain test. That test seems have an unlimited amount of labor to find the issue. Many Dodge owners have this problem.
Any additional insight? Bluebook is $8,500 ish private party....but it won't start without jumping.
I am so frustrated to have to sell this car for nothing. Any insight?

doing the parasitic draw test is the correct next step. you must determine if it has a draw more than 35milliamps. It will be more time consuming to perform this test in your vehicle due to the location of the negative battery terminal. eric the car guy on youtube has a good video on how to complete this test.
if you have any aftermarket accessories...unplug them. an aftermarket remote start will draw 30milliamps all by itself. aftermarket items can keep the tipm/bcm from entering sleep mode causing an increase draw.
