Default Uconnect Bluetooth Stops after 3 restarts

So I'm not sure if this is a bad bluetooth module, or something else. I can get my hands free system to work when I disconnect the battery terminal (or the dashboard power fuse) for a few restarts and then it stops working (Gives me the "loading hands free system" message infinitely). The system works no problem, I can stream music, make calls, read text messages etc. If I leave the car running it will continue to work for hours. As soon as I do 2-3 restarts of the vehicle though, then it stops working. This is what makes me think its some software problem, because from a hardware standpoint everything seems to work. As a side note, when I redo the battery terminal the uconnect theme seems to change from my standard red, to a blue theme for the aforementioned 2-3 restarts, then switches back to red.

Any ideas? I attempted a firmware update, but it wouldn't accept it for whatever reason. If I took it in to the dealer would they be able to fix it if its firmware?
