A few months ago, my lower A/C Heater vents along with the temp. blend quit working. I bought a new Dorman actuator and replaced the mopar. I also did a hard reset. Didn't work. In testing by plugging the power in first one , then the other, I learned that they functioned exactly the same. The problem is that neither one stops at the place where the lower vent opens. Could this be a control head problem? Any help would be much appreciated. Please help!
Thanks
Ross
if you remove the actuator...can you move the blend door by hand to the position the lower vent opens...if not the problem is in the hvac case.
Thanks, but if I move the control head from upper to defrost, I can feel the air come out of the lower vent for a second as it moves past the place that is supposed to stop.
Please someone, My journey has only 2 actuators, I replaced the main one, but the temperature blend still does not work, and the air will no go to the floor duct. Please help
