Default Odd vibrations

Hello, I have a 2016/17 Journey, its the V4 (i know i know, i should have looked more into it before i bought it) Today when I got off work i put it into reverse and it started vibrating, and making a louder vibration sound towards the back of the vehicle. I had the break pushed in, and I was able to back out of my spot just fine. When i put it in Neutral and then drive, the vibration immediately went away. I tried in a parking lot to put it in reverse and the vibrations were still there. When i let off the break and pushed on the gas they did get a little louder. Any idea what it could be? I would take it into the shop, but I live in a small town and have no faith or trust in the local mechanics. Thanks for the help in advance!

edit- It is a front wheel drive, automatic with around 60k miles. No major repairs have ever been done to it as far as i am aware.

Welcome to the forum. It’s an in-line 4 for one. Dodge never made a V4 for the Journey. Not sure what you are saying. It could just be the brakes grabbing. You have the parking brake off?

Thanks for the information, i will fully admit to having no idea what im talking about when it comes to vehicles. And no the ebrake is not engaged and i dont think it is the breaks as it only happens in reverse and not while in drive. But i dont know much about how those systems work exactly. I have put it in reverse and revved the engine while in reverse and holding the break and it does get more noticeable as the rpms rise if that helps.
