2012 dodge journey We keep getting a dead battery after car sits or 1-2 days. I was told to change the TIPM. as that is the cause .

I've heard that. But have you or whoever told you that done any parasitic draw tests yet to isolate whats draining it?

 

Yes we have had several scans by the dealer who could not find the issue . Finally took it to my mechanic who also ran a scan and said the TIPM shorted out when he moved it. He said that he found that strictly by accident. He said he is 100% sure that is the issue.
