Hello I bought a used 2014 dodge journey which was fine off the lot. It has had problems turning on the car after about 2 weeks or so. I Google to see if there was a fix and found that if you press the start button 5 times then hold after it would start. This worked for awhile until one day the car wouldn't start even with that method. The car would just click and thats it. At that point I needed a jump start. Then it worked for bit. I brought back to the dealership and they could not fix this issue. But it seemed to be working fine again for about a month now. And here iam again with this issue.

Dealership said they put a new battery in for me because it was dead before buying. I'm not sure if they just put a crappy battery in or not. If there is any suggestions to fix this please let me know. Thank you.

 

Start by getting the battery tested.
