Default Crankshaft Positioning Sensor issue

In the last year I have replaced three crankshaft positioning sensors and I was successful but unfortunately each time my car would fail to start in less time and I'm now on the fourth time that my code reader is indicating that the sensor has failed. so I talked to a mechanic who has indicated that I should have replaced both the crank and both camshaft sensors and so at this point I have replaced one camshaft, 3 weeks after I have replaced my crankshaft sensor and I still need to replace one more camshaft so my question is, is it true that I need to replace all three sensors at the exact same time even though my code reader indicates crankshaft only?

Update: I spoke to a class a mechanic and they also said that all three sensors should be replaced at the same time because the two camshaft positioning sensors speak to and through the crankshaft positioning sensor which then communicates to the computer, so regardless of which sensor fails the computer will always say the crankshaft sensor so I will be replacing all 3 tomorrow and again I will update this thread as to my findings!

Default Update:

It turns out, the mechanic was right!! If you find that your reader gives you a code that the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor has failed, then you do need to replace the Camshaft Position Sensors as well. I just completed my repair and had a friend of mine do the relearn and the car runs fine, so far!!
