Can't connect Phone
 

Hi,
I am new to forum. Just bought a used 2012 Journey from the dealer and can't connect my phone to the system. I touch the phone icon on the system and nothing happens. Tried touching Phone/Bluetooth in settings and nothing happens. Any suggestions

Do you have Bluetooth? Do you have the buttons on the steering wheel?

Yes, it does have the buttons on the steering wheel and the system (stereo) has a phone option and the settings has a phone/bluetooth option. None of the buttons do anything though...

Try disconnecting the battery or pull the radio fuse to reset everything.

I took the Journey back to the dealer and they have informed me that the Hands Free Module needs to be replaced...

Had the same exact problem with my 2014 SXT. If you pull the fuse for the hands-free, it might re-boot, but the problem with reappear after a few minutes. Deal estimated more to replace the module than I paid extra for that option. I'm just using my earbuds, as the voice recognition system was terrible, and I had to dial by hand even when the hands-free was working.
