2014 3.6L oil leak
Just curious as to how many people have had oil leak issues due to a cracked oil filter housing?
This seems to be an endemic problem with the 3.6L Pentastar in any Chrysler-Fiat vehicle, but the 2014 year models seem to have been the worst. Apparently the C-F engineers redesigned the plastic housing for 2014, and came up with a real POS design that they implemented, as they have re-designed the housing for the 2015 models.
I am getting about 250 miles per quart, and have a major Pentastar Puddle on my garage floor.
Glad to see Dorman has brought an aluminum oil filter housing to market, so I can now get this fixed.
