I have a 2012 dodge journey. The rear hatch mechanism has stopped working. Watch a few videos about how to open it using the little hole and plastic screw on the inside. With doors unlock I tried to use said screw except it instantly broke into pieces and basically disintegrated. Now I'm stuck with how to get the door open. Is there any other methods that don't required breaking anything to get it open.

I have a right passenger tail light out and need to replace it. Is there another option to change the light without having the rear hatch open?
