2017 Dodge journey code p0420
Help!
I'm about to go on a road trip for family and medical reasons, so it's urgent and costly. I want to drive my Dodge journey. It's my primary vehicle and this code has been on and off for a long time...more than 40k miles. Every time I take it to a shop they have different fixes, none of which work to make the code go away... It's permanent. We've had new spark plugs, computer reset, idle relearn, and the cylinders cleaned.
I just poured a bottle of CataClean in the tank and someone at O'Reilly's advised me to replace the O2 sensors since one was about to go out, according to the code reader.
My question: will this be safe to drive about 700 miles in two days? It's not running rough and the engine light turns off occasionally.
