I am writing for my neighbor who has a 2009 Dodge Journey. She is a senior and needs a safe car but her battery gets somehow drained and the car thinks it's dead. She gets stranded and has had to call BCAA to boost.

What causes this and what should she do to fix it? What is the general cost to fix it?
