A couple of days ago my high beams just stopped working. I wouldn't expect both bulbs to go out at the same instant, so I suppose it's something electrical. When I select high beams the blue indicator on the dash comes on, so I think the switch is ok. I checked the fuses, if what I read is correct there are 2 headlight fuses, but they are left and right, not high and low, and I swapped them anyway just to see and it didn't make a difference, so I don't believe it's a fuse issue.. I'm guessing there is a relay that selects high and low, but while the manual lists the fuses it doesn't seem to list the relays, and I can't find an online guide that shows clearly what relay is for what. Does anyone know if there is a headlight relay, and if so which it is? Or does anyone have any other suggestions of what I might check?

 

Well I have to admit I was wrong. When I had time to check I pulled both bulbs and they were both burned out. I replaced them and after several days they are still ok.

Now what could have caused both bulbs to burn out at the same instant is another question.
