Default Newbie question about a 14’ Journey SE backup camera

Hi,

I have a 14’ Journey SE but it does not have a backup camera. I’m not big on aftermarket if I can avoid it but I was trying to find information about if I could add a backup camera OEM or if I’m stuck with an aftermarket?

Thank you.

Probably can check with the dealer to see if OEM is still available. Otherwise, it will have to be aftermarket.

Default Okay

What are your thoughts about this…

if I have the OEM, I think it’s the 4 inch screen and wanted to replace it with the 8 inch one, would I need to replace the monitor, the radio/HVAC controls and the CD player? Or could I just switch out the screens?

😬

You can do it. Check you tube for videos. There is more to it that just replacing the screen, but I can't remember specifics.
