2015 Dodge Journey SE 2.4l Will start but won’t turn off
So about a week ago it dropped down to freezing temps here. I drove my journey 2 miles down the road and noticed coolant temps climbing fast. Immediately turned around and parked it at my house. When I went to shut it off, it told me Vehicle Not In Park. Went out today to inspect it for coolant leaks as I figured the radiator cracked. No leaks. Started the car up and it ran just fine for about 10 minutes. Once it got up to about 170, I tried to turn it off. I got a message on the dash “Vehicle Not In Park”. It was in fact in park. I tried to shift out of park and back in but I couldn’t get it out of park. I had to disconnect the main fuse to shut the car off. I pulled the battery cables to reset everything but that didn’t work. I had the auto parts guy next door pull a code (P1C4E) which doesn’t tell me much. Has anyone experienced this or have some idea what the issue could be?
