Default test drive

Morning all !

Anyone on here in the Phoenix area? I was hoping to meet a fellow R/T owner and see if they would be willing to drive my car and and provide some feedback to it's power. The reason I ask is that it feels to me like the car just doesn't pull that hard after 3K RPM. Almost like it hits a dead spot. The dealer says it feels fine but to me it just doesnt feel right.

RickyRT,
Just Test Drive a New Magnum and see what it feels like/ pulls after 3K and then hop in your Magnumand drive it. I am assuming your car is fairly new and should perform similar as a new one. That should tell you... I had a Bad Wiring Harness between the Transmission and the Computer that would not allow it to Rev higher than 3K, but it was nothing like a Dead Spot. Let us know what you find out.

That's interesting...I didnt think about that. The car is at the dealer today for a loose window, they said they will check out the power issue.

Cool check engine light

running out of ideas, I have a 05 magnum, engine light is on, goes off some times. had the dealer check they were confused, I'm a mechanic and the car is now past it's 100k. things I have done, had a miss and stalls, and engine light. replaced plugs and intake gaskets. battery getting week so replaced, and gas cap. light on with{ running lean banks 1 & 2 }, check for any kind of vac. leak. if I reset the code, I can drive on the hwy no light as soon as I drive around town at low speeds lights on in acouple of miles, done this several times. { EGR stuck? } stalls, but peddle is very tuchy, thinking bad spot? just broke down and replaced the EGR, The old one seems air tight. 3.5 L rear wheel drive, other than that nice car.. When the light is on gas mileage is about 250 miles per tank, when reset and light is off 390 miles per tank. Thanks for your help.
