Default 06 Magnum RT problems

I recently bought an RT AWD left over about a month ago and it's in the shop already. About a week ago I noticed occasionally the brake light would come on shortly after driving the car. I thought maybe the ebrake indicator was falsly reporting the ebrake being on so I would pull over set the brake then pop it and the light would go out. One day the ABS light came on along with the brake light then after stopping the car turning off and back on it went away. Well two days ago on the way into work the brake, ABS, engine, and another light all came on and the car would not go over what I estimated as around 35mph, it felt like the brakes were engaged and the MPG indicator was dropping like a rock. The speedo showed 0 mph even though I was moving, the RPM was around 3000 RPM, the AC shut down on its own. I managed to get to work and called the dodge dealer and arranged towing. At lunch I decided to go out and see if the problem was still there so I was going to take it around the block but before I left the parking lot the ABS, brake, and engine lights came back on so I pulled back into the parking space and turned the car off. I tried to restart it and the battery was dead as a doornail. The car is at the dealer and they are telling me the problem is the battery went dead, they tested the charging system and battery and they both tested fine. I'm finding it hard to believe the problems I experienced were because a low charge on the battery. Anyone have any ideas?
