Your key remote may just need a new battery. Some dealers charge to reprogram them. I'd check my owner's manual for items needed to be serviced, and pay attention to what type of driving you do compared to the examples in the manual........

Does your second key work?

A good idea is to replace the battery yearly. If you have 2 that work, you can program a third for a back up, in cas you lose one of it gets damaged,
Cheaper than strealership charges.

Speaking of annual things to do, cycle all water valves in your house. We don't think of it in our daily lives, but do it in industrial plants.
Saves headache in the long run.

Same as using A/C in your car monthly, just to keep the compressor lubed up during winter months.
Same with car windows, run them fully open and closed every month.

Preventive maintenance.

If neither key works, it's probably not a key issue. Stealership time.
Good luck.
