rksport Viper Hood
My shop just got my rksports viper hood and noticed a problem. The hood is a good fit along the front and flush along the side fender lines but they said it is raised a bit at the rear, near the windshield. Have any of you guys had this problem? They say they should be able to form it a bit for more contour, but I am not sure I like this idea. Please let me know if any of you all had this experience with your hood, either way what do you think?
Thanks
Note: I am going to try get a pic if I can make it by the shop. If I do I will post it here.

On my hood I have some minor inperfections. It's not an exact fit. The shop that put mine in did a great job. They had to do some fiberglass rework and the hood needs to be slammed shut. Most people that close it don't even get it to close until the 3rd or 4th time.

Other than that it came out pretty nice. I am happy with it.
Hopefully the shop that you are using can work some magic. Good Luck

the hinges are adjustable. the fiberglass hoodis thinker than the alloy hood. lower the hinges where the bolt to the fenders. any good bodyshop can the fit perfect. it just takes time.
Magmania,
Try getting some washers of various thickness and put them under hood latch catch. Also if you have not tried, lower the bump stops at the front, this worked for me and did not adversely effect the fit along the front, and I don't have to slam the hood. I think Grinner mentioned that in time his noticed some hairline cracks in the paint from slamming the hood on a regular basis.
