Car is in the garage, not on a incline, wife drove it earlier this morning with no issues. Brake peddle all the way to the floor, tried the pink emergency release button in the console, you can feel it release but the shifter will not move.


Any ideas?

Here's what my problem was:

The pink plastic hook piece that holds the spring broke, had to replace the whole shifter. $126 Hope this helps someone in the future, very easy to replace.
