Hey folks.....I'm brand new here, as I just bought a new Magnum yesterday. I've been looking for one off and on for almost a year now, ever since we had a Magnum for a rental car on vacation last summer. For some odd reason, my local 5 star dealer will not/does not stock Magnums...ever. I have yet to see one on the lot. So I began searching the internet for the area dealers with-in an hours or so drive, and found a dealer in Southhaven MS that had an '06 R/T as one of their Internet Specials for the week.

I called them up and spoke to the sales lady, who said she would get some more info on it and call me back. Well, I was almost shocked when she called me back and said that the Magnum only had 3,400 miles on it !!! She said they used the R/T as a loaner when a VIP would get their vehicle worked on. This thing still had the air-bag stickers on the dash and the leather tag was still hanging on the seat !!!

Well that was Friday, and Saturday I loaded up first thing that morning and headed for MS. When I arrived, she showed me the car and we went for a drive. Sweet ride. Silver steel exterior, grey leather on the interior. Anyway, after all the wheeling and dealing....I got the car for $22K and some change !!!! $10K off of the sticker, which was still on the window.

My only gripe was that they didn't offer to fill up the tank before I left.....but I guess with gas prices the way they are today, that may not be as common as it once was.

welcome aboard. i like the '06 magnums so much, i bought two of them. great cars, you're going to love it.

 

good deal....I bought my 05 this year for just a couple of grand over that with 13,000 kms on it,but it had the sweet rims and Magnaflow exhaust.. You my be in a spot where there is not a lot of call for a hot wagon,I can't see why, but hey the main thing is you got it.

Hey Dave.....

How does the exhaust sound with the Magnaflow Catback ??? How is the highway cruising speeds - not too loud ??? I want a little more rumble out of my Magnum, but still a family-friendly vacation machine.

The Magnaflows make the Hemi sound sweet,not too loud at highway speeds,give it some gas....and you know you're going. Check out the Magnaflow website, they have sound bites and they're pretty accurate.
I bought mine up here in Canada and just happened to be in the right spot at the right time and haven't regretted it ever since.

As a matter of fact....it was Landers !!!! Seemed like really good people to deal with.
