Upgrading Head unit
I've been doin my research for an indash dvd, but from what I've seen, the bezel has to be molded and painted to house the screen... Pioneer has a nice one out that fits, but I don't have factory navigation, so I think I could run into problems with the fitting issue... I know the motorized screens will fit just dandy, however, if I went down that road, the screen will cover the air vents just above it... and I'm pretty sure hot air pounding on it can't be good for it nor would I like obstructed airflow in the summer time...
Has anyone done either of these? If so, are you satisfied, or would you have done differently?
'Preciate it!

I have not done it myself but a few of my buddies have flip outs and they just don't use the upper vents when heating the car. Heat rises anyway so they just use the floor setting. The bezel can be modded or find an install kit. Crutchfield has a Kenwood DDX6019 which will fit and the install kit is included.
Thanks... I looked a little further and if I had the factory navi system it would be a perfect fit... unfortunitly, I don't have that feature... do you think if I ordered a new Bezel that would take care of the problem... I really don't feel like tearing up my bezel
