Default Modification info.

Hi everyone,

I've made a couple of mods to my '06 Magnum R/T... I installed a Jet Stage 1 chip and an Injen CAI.

I certianly can feel and hear the difference but I'm worried I'm going to 'lose' the mods due to the onboard computer making adjustments and taking me back to stock HP. Is this a justified concern or will the performance gains I'm seeing now hold out without a worry (the chip and CAI have been installed for about 2 weeks now).

Any thoughts ?

The chip is after the PCM so it make changes after the PCM decides what to do, as for the CAI you have, it's not the best performancewise, only the AFE2 and aihammer have been proven to constantly kick butt.

Thanks for the response, I just received an email from Jet too confirming the same thing about the chip so no need to worry there. As for the CAI it certainly is one of the better looking CAI's under the hood too, just hope it doesn't give me any issues down the road. They seem to have a good rep and the specs look better than any other I've seen.
