mods - increase HP eliminated by computer
Now that the CAI has been installed, the complete exhaust from headers to mid pipe and the cat back has been replaced, you could really feel the difference. I couldnt be more satisfied. Until today. It seems to have lost power, atleast lost the gain in power it received from the upgrades.
I have noticed that the car seems more tame after my wife has out time behind the wheel, but after stepping on it a few times it comes back. I have heard the computer trains itself to your driving style.
Is it possible the computer also trains itself to remain at a certain performance level or return to a set performance level? Is this dodges way of forcing you to buy an SRT?
If this is true, wouldnt the computer eventually override and chip or flashpaq? I hope someone is trying to crack this computer.

these car have adaptives the adjust as needed. most people see restored power after the clear the adaptives. but remember, adaptives work both ways. i see a big loss in power ifi clear the adaptives (by battery disconnect or pulling fuse #11). i drive very spiritted all of the time, always shift manually with the ole Hurst auto stick.
i have a B&G PCM. i can't run without it.

It's easy to bring the Magnum back to life. At 50 or 60 mph just snap the throttle wide open by popping it to the floor and back 6 or 7 times in a row as quickly as possible. The Hemi and AT will now respond to your slightest touch!
