Default Newbie with question

Hi to all you Magnum people out there. I am a newbie and enjoy reading all your comments on this great car. Do have one question and probably more in the future. I ordered and RT (Magnesium with sunroof and electronics group) about a month ago from a small dealer who is a good friend of mine. He is someone I can trust and his service people are top notch. My question is because he is a small dealer and obviously doesnt do the volume are his orders put in back of the stack so to speak? It has been about 5 weeks since I ordered and it is still in somekind of B status and isnt scheduled to be built in Nov from what I understand. One thing I seem to understand is Magnesium is not a "troubled" color so far and the options I ordered were minimal. Any info would help ...thanks. Oh and by the way I also drive a 2000 Dodge Durango which I dealer love and ordered it also. Have a 1971 Dodge Challenger Conv which has 22000 miles on it and had it since it was a baby too. Have had numerous Mopar products and never one dog in them!!! Sorry for the long post .........Kent

Kent,

Not sure what your order status means, I like to buy a car from inventory, I seldom order a new car. Would rather search dealers inventory (online) and find the car I want.

That is how I found my Magnesium Pearl RT.

Thanks Bob,

I can understand the frustration now but I have been through it before when I ordered my 2000 Durango...they too were hot at that time and it took forever to get it (ordered it through the same dealer friend) but Iwould rather do business with him then to go somewhere I dont know anybody or whether their service stinks or is good....at least I can trust this guy and his service is great...so I will wait and wait until my little beauty comes in. So you have the magnesium too huh....I really liked that color although I was torn between silver, black or magnesium....the car looks great in alot of colors......Kent
