Default HELP! Won't start!

I have a 2005 R/T with 70,000 miles. It has an extended warranty (another 10,000 to go) and has been regularly serviced.

Last week, it refused to start - the in car diagnostics read a fully charged battery. Everything worked - remote entry, lights, dash lights, except turning the key did nothing. Not even a solenoid click. Moving in and out of park made no difference. Eventually I called roadside support and they towed it to the dealer. Of course, it started first time when at the dealer. $100 fee for the tow-in. While there, I had them do a full service.

I got the car back on Tuesday night. This morning - the same problem. Full power, but no action on the key. The two nearest dealerships refuse/can't send a mechanic to do remote diagnostics and my only option is to have it towed in again. Chances are that it will start once off the truck at the dealer. I'm loathe to do that since it's already done it before and they found nothing wrong, only a week ago.

Do I have ANY options other than constantly paying $100 each time it happens in the hope that one day it might not start at the dealership?

SuffolkMagnum,
The extended warranty should come with Roadside Assistance. Call them, they will tow it for free. Besides, AAA is only like $75 a year... I had my Magnum stall like that once before, but I just waited (because it was hot and I didn't want to walk) and it started, just like yours did for the dealer. I only had that problem once or twice, about 2 years ago... Fixed itself...

It may be the battery in your key fob needs replacing.
I had this happen and the car does not get the signal from the key so nothing will happen.
It was an intermittant problem that was occurring over a 2 day period.

If you have'nt replaced your battery then try that. Make sure you replace the batteries in both sets of keys.
Once I did that the problem never came back.
