Default SXT - MPG

For you SXT owners, what kind of gas milage are you getting?

I have an '07 SXT. I use regular fuel.
For the most part, I drive in the city, I'll occasionally get on the freeway to go to another part of town, that's usually for less than a mile or two. I don't drive aggressively a lot, I usually try and keep all normal accelerating between 2-3k rpm.

Sometimes, the need kicks in for a little more gas.. I don't usually press it all the way, because the few times I have, it seems like the gas guage drops down a bit.

Is this normal of the 3.5L "High Output" Engine pulling this 2ton awesome-wagon?

Another thought - I'm comparing this to the only other car I've driven for a long period of time.. which was my 1995 Explorer Eddie Bauer. It has 160k miles, v6 engine, and a failing transmission. I got 14-16 mpg in the city.. mainly cause I drove like an *** most the time, without speeding much.. it just seemed to handle the random increase in acceleration then the Magnum.

14-16 in an sxt is reasonable. Whenever I go home to nyc, I get somewhere around that (I drive an SE).
