The dead pixel thing is standard for laptop screens and desktop LCD panels.
Nobody that makes LCDs replaces them for having one dead pixel.
Making perfect LCD panels is not easy.... allways making perfect LCD panels is impossible.
The only legit gripe you have with them is the Disc.
