Unfortunately double din radios do not fit in the magnum. It has an odd chrysler shape to it.

Not True:

Yes you can get a double DIN unit in the LX models. You can purchase an install kit designed specific to them and you are good to go. A number of folks have done it to install aftermarket NAV systems and other components. Some have even modified the stock Radio Bezel itself and they look great. Search around around the LXboards and you will find examples.

OK... I'm proof it is possible... My RT did not come with factory nav, so the factory bezel was not fitted for a double din head unit... so, since magnum's dash bezels are interchangable, I ordered one online fitted for one that has the navigation fitting, then ordered the Chrysler install kit... the install kits are universal for chrystler, dodge, and jeep for the double dins... or at least the kit I got... you'll have to transfer the climate control and hazard/esp/etc. buttons to the new bezel peice which is probably the most annoying parts... tiny tiny little screws.... but rather than that, it was the nicest install i've ever done.
