Well I went out and bought a used 2005 SXT 3.5L. What kind of gas mileage should I expect?

 

I get around 18 in town but I put ethanol in my tank so summers its a little better and winters it goes down a bit... Gets close to 25 on hwy miles but I never drive it for long distances on the freeway. If i did i would have a v8 with mds they say it gets close to 25mpg not bad for a v8

I've had my 07 SXT since 10/07. I get 22mpg with mostly city driving. I haven't checked my highway only mpg yet...hopefully it will be in the high 20s.

 

I have an 05 SXT and regularly have to do only highway miles, I get 30 Mpg at a steady 75 MPH (120 KPH I live in Canada)

in the city I get about 22Mpgdepending on how many people I fell like beating off the line.

fora car this size no one can complain about the gas mileage.

I've had my '06 SXT for about 3 weeks now and she is getting 20-22 MPG 50% highway, 50% city.

I'm looking into opening up the exhaust with some cat-back duals and maybe some headers, hopefully I can increase the mileage up to 25-27 MPG.
