Simple problem but maybe somebody has a better solution. The other day a noise started from under the dash (when I braked)that sounded a bit like a binding spring. Well, by tonight it really sounded like a binding spring. Igot down there and looked up through the cowling and big suprise ... abig spring is wrapped aroundan axle the brake pedal is attached...and seems to be the source of the noise! I figured I'dget that long nozzle on the WD 40 can and shoot it aroundthe spring. Maybe messy but probably will work.
Anyone have a better idea orhave had the same problem. And ... when I was under there(right by the hood release) there iswhat looks like a DIN plugreceptacle ... what is that? Sorry for the boring subject when there are so many cool ideas and questions.Love the car ... just got it ...plan on a few minor mods.Thanks for the help.

 

There is a fix,but I don't know the details. If you still have warranty left the dealer can fix it.
