has anyone bought into the Protection Group - any thoughts as to it's value and/or advisability of?...... I'm specifically wondering about the covers on the front end....

 

I just bought a Magnum RT with a protection group. It was a MUST. Side airbags will not reduce your insurance rates too much (maybe $3-$5 per month), but if you get t-boned or hit hard in any other way, they will save your life. Spend the money.
Also, you can join NTRA and get on their Dodge purchasing program. I just bought the car for 1% under invoice. I spent the saved money on more options.
To me protection grouped coupled with electronic convenience group should be standard. EC group keeps your eyes on the road, not on the stereo, protection group saves you a$$ if you mess up.
