Signature says it all. I cut the bottom fiberglass pan. The box measures 39w X 7.5h X 12d. Amp/Cd changer Cover is 28X39. The sucky part is, living in an apt, did it all in the apt and on the door step with just a Jig/Sabre Saw. What I would have given for a garage and table saw. Got a package deal on the amp and subs, $350. Sorry the pictures are so lousy. I used a web cam because the g/f has misplaced the digital. Here are the pics.

NICE JOB - DID YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE RECOMMENDED VOLUME REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUBS? ALSO ALONG ANOTHER LINE OF THOUGHT - ANY COMPUTER PROBLEMS WHEN YOU PULLED THE FACTORY SYSTEM OUT? DID YOU PULL THE FACTORY AMP? AND DID YOU LINK THE NEW SYSTEM UP WITH EITHER UCONNECT, SIRIUS FACTORY ANTENNA, OR WITH THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS? (IF U HAVE ANY OF THE ABOVE)
THANKS

The box is .74ft3. Optimum is 1.0ft3 and the range is .65-1.5ft3. I could have gone bigger I went the cheap route of using 12"wX3/4 MDF. Hell it only cost $12 for the 4 planks of MDF. $4 for the carpeting(box only). Had extra wiring and terminal(freebie). For a grand total of $16.

As for the other questions, I have the base SXT. I came with the non-amped 4 speaker system. None of all that fancy stuff. I knew I would be replacing the stereo to start with. The system cost me under $800.

It's nice to see my Sub idea is getting copied all over the place. I designed and did that idea a long time ago and have since seen more then a few Magnums doing the same thing. Anyway looks good. Redhouse

Well don't break your arm patting yourself on the back, hahahah. I have used this same basic layout in vehicles from a '57 nomad to a newer caprice wagon. I was going to do some fiberglass enclosures in the side pockets but I was too lazy. When I get the time, I'm going to make some speaker grill that look like the Radiation warning circles, to protect them when i haul stuff. Since I live in an apt, it's going to have to wait for warmer days. We just got 19" of snow here in Omaha. I cut the box in the apt and just cleaned up the mess. So next time its gonna be done outside. Im still deciding if I am going to put in a lexan panel and LED light for some extra show or not. If I do that then I will need a panel like the original 3-piece to protect the Lexan. COME ON SPRING!!!
