Took her in today for the recalls. In and out in 45 min. If anyone cares

And they didn't break anything? You must have a good service department.

My recall fix took 6 hours and they messed up some parts doing it.

I do them all the time, even taking my union 15 I am still done in way under an hour.

Even though my car isn't in the recall range, for the heck of it I just wanted to check to see if the radiator support bolts were stripped like on many other cars. They are certainly on real tight and I didn't want to chance snapping the bolts. I don't know, maybe they are supposed to be real tight, but I'm not going to bother with them any further.

When I took mine in for the recall, the service advisor passed on the issue
of the snapping bolts to the mechanic. It was relayed to me that it was
likely the bolts were being removed with an air wrench....too much torque,
too fast.

I was using a socket wrench with a 3/8" drive and those bolts felt awfully tight so I let them be.
Maybe they would break loose easily, but I didn't want to chance it.
