I went to change my in cab air filter last night thinking that it would be good to do so at 40000 km. I went under the hood, opened the piece on cowl and thats where it stopped. Is there another small door to open or is it just placed there and clipped in into something. I couldnt see anything but I could feel a small mess screen. I thought that there should be some small door or something because if I just set it in the openning and clipped it in there it could get wet when it rains. Anyone know where I'm going wrong?

 

under the first piece of cowl you take off there should be another piece of plastic that you have to flip towards the front of the car and the cabin filter should be right there. i've had mine out a few times.. only 18,000 kms and it was very dirty
