RCA adaptor for factory head unit
I have one of those portbale Sirius players that I used in my house and car. I would like to stop using the FM modulator (which is ok) and directly hook it into my head unit. With an aftermarket one I could just use the RCA jacks in the back. But there isn't any on the factory one. Is there unit that hooks into the back of the head unit that would replicate this? Or say I was to hook up a subwoofer same issue i guess. Thanks.
PIE, Precision Interface Electronics, makes an adapter that plugs into the back of the single disc factory HU. I used one of these on my last vehicle. Much better sound than the FM mod. or the cassete adapter.
The mag. I bought has the 6 disc in dash HU. PIE does not make an adapter for the 6 disc, the only choice I have is to use the cassete. It really sucks![:@]

Thanks for the reply. I will be ordering one tomorrow. Can't wait. I am tired of the FM transmitter and having to switch stations as I go from place to place.
