Default TAKE OUT MDS

HOW DO YOU TAKE OUT THE MDS, NEED ANY SST'S OR A "DODGE SCAN TOOL" AND WHEN IS COMPLETELY OUT IS THE ANY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON, OR ANY OTHER WARNING LIGHTS

you need the diablosports predator. in it, there is a feature to disable the MDS. this is the best way to turn it off and have the ability to turn it back on if you prefer.

i completely removed the system from my motor. i changed out the MDS lifters, removed and plugged the MDS solenoids, and removed the wire harness. then i disabled the MDS with the predator. no codes, no engine lights.

now, why do you want to TAKE OUT MDS?

i'm just curiuous.. why did you disable your's? is there a benifit to taking it out when you mod your car?

i had no choice but to remove it. the valve lifton my cam is .565". the MDS lifters are unable to collapse enough to close the valve fully at this lift. besides, the MDS lifters are heavy and thus are limited in RPM's before valve float.
