Lug Nuts
Riverset,
Oh Dude... This is a bad subject with me... I have looked into this and it sucks...
Any problems with the 2-Piece Lugs Nuts? You mean like them coming apart? Yes! Or do you mean they strip out the Corners too easy? Yes! Or do you mean they are just not a quality product what-so-ever? Yes!!!!
Does Dodge have a 1-Piece Lug Nut? Only if you want to buy (20) Locking Lug Nuts... Other than that, no...
Any Solutions? I have a sweet set of 1-Piece Chrome Lug Nuts, only to find out the Angle at the base of the nut is different than the stock rim, so there isa slight chance they would back off too easily, so they are sitting in my room, waiting for the possible next solution which is... Get an after-market set of rims, the 1-Piece Lug Nuts will fit them!
But I happen to like the stock look, so I am waiting for all of the Chrome Caps to fall off, about 40% have fallen off now, and then I will have the Stock Lug Nuts, without the Caps, Chromed. I figure that is the best solution.
Beware! This is a major issue! If you get a flat, you won't be able to remove the Lug Nuts without the Caps, as it is a different size! Seems like Dodge should have given us (2) Lug Nut Wrenches. One for the Cap and One for the Lug Nut! LOL!!!
