otta be able to post pics early next week.
It's being painted and installed Monday.
I'm having the dealership do it. I know that's MUCH more expensive than a body shop but it was in the shop for other stuff anyway and I figured I'd have better luck gripin' at them for it being crooked than Earl at a body shop.
I had SXT headlights installed, my foglights fixed (bad switch), a tail light replaced (condensation), an oil change and am having them try to do something about the mis-matched paint that shows now that the side moldings have been removed. I may also have them shave the roof rack if I have any moola left.

I love the look of the hood though. ONly thing that worries me is the obvious mesh from the fiberglass. Lots of sand n fill will be required to make it smooth.
I expect a small hp increase too as the induction comes right down to the heatbox of my 360 air intake.

It fits ok. A little high in the driver's side corner by the windshield and a little too big of a gap at the front but it's ok as far as a fit. Not perfect by any means.
This hood sure is geting expensive. They should not have sent it out this rough. Obvious mesh you can see and feel, waves all in it, no good way to mount the hood latch and the washer sprayers can't fit through the fiberglass. There are also hairline cracks right at the nose which have to be attended to. Slamming this hood on a cold day would be bad. Heck, painting it black without many many hours of fixing it up would be bad.
I can't recomend this product to anybody, unfortunatly.
I hope to have it done by next week but then, I hoped that last week too.
I believe it will turn out fine but it will end up costing every bit as much in labor as the hood itself cost me.
very sloppy.

Very sorry to hear that....I really do hope your body shop can
get the hood cleaned up for you.

I would be curious if RK Sport has had any similar feedback.

Keep us posted....

turned out pretty good.
I spent as much fixing it as I did on the hood itself but here is the end result:
