Unexpected Chirp
I was going down the freeway yesterday morning, traffic was a bit slow, but moving well, probably at about 55-60 MPH. I was getting close to my off-ramp and needed to move over to the right. There was a truck next to me and about 4 cars behind him, but I saw an opening in front of the truck, but only about 4 car lengths before the car in front of me. Not wanting to slow down and wait for all 4 cars to pass me (never cut anyone off) I decided to accelerate and get into the gap in front of the truck... I punched it doing about 60 MPH or so, it down shifted like a bat out of hell and then broke the tires loose! Set me back in the seat like I was standing still! I was impressed... The computers in these cars have a mind of their own sometimes, and yesterday morning was the WFO sector of the computer... Happens every now and then, just has never done it while going down the freeway at speed. My Caravan's computer did the same thing, but the van was lacking the Hemi! Just thought I would share on my 60 MPH Tire Chirp...
