a magnum music video
This was a quick family project. Lots of fun.
My seven year old son ran camera, my four year old son carried gear and pushed buttons for me while editing and my nine year old little girl created the graphics/artwork for it.
turned out awesome...

Are you in "the business" because if you aren't, you sure as hell should be! That was a really enjoyable bit. Treasure that one...I wish DC would do something like that to get the juices flowing.
thanks man
I've been a video editor since the late 80s. I do treaure projects my family helps me out on. I have almost an hours worth of just music videos of my family. I enter em all butted together into film festivals as a documentary. I always get contacted by the festival folks explaining they do have a catagory for music videos. Being that it's the story of my life from the time I met my bride, I leave it in the documentary catagory. Labors of love is what it's all about for me.
The next video otta be a blast too. Ya know that "hey whatcha got in that thang" commercial for the magnum? We're gonna make a spoof spot featuring my wife and kids in my wife's magnum. She'll blow past me and I'll ask her what she's got in that thing. Instead of a surfboard, a guitar and amp, ect, she'll be all like, "a lamp from target, some shelves from Home Depot, 3 kids and some groceries."
If I make enough videos, I may approach didge with the thought of starting a dodge film website not unlike BMWfilms.com.
Thats down the road though. Right now, we're just havin some fun, man.
