Hi boys i have an 05 dodge magnum that was backed into in the rear passenger corner, just a minor dent but after that my gas gauge stop working but the low fuel indicator light still turns on when fuel is low, do you have any idea on what could be bad or how to fix this issue?

 

the sensor and the fuel pump are both inside the tank. also these cars have two tanks.
