Default interested in 2005 magnum sxt..need opinions + winter driving

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I'm interested in a 2005 magnum sxt 3.5L engine. Just wanted to get some info and opinions on this car. Any major problems with it? things to look at when shopping for one?
How do they handle in snow? in montreal our winters are bad with lots of snow. I've driven a RWD car in winter and with good winter tires it did well..is this the same with the magnum?
Are they reliable cars?
any info would be appreciated.
Oh, the car in question has 55 000km on the clock and asking 12 000(cdn) is this good?

i have an '06 magnum sxt i drive in the winter. i use Firestone Winterforce tires and the car is great in the snow and ice. tires make all the difference in the snow, plus these cars have the Mercedes Benz electronic stability program (ESP). it doesn't get any better than that.

65...thanks for your reply...it's quite reassuring... I know that tires do make a difference...i was thinking of getting some nice nokian studded tires...my brother's had them on his toyota an swears by them!!! they do handle well and i think they'll do well on this car too..
p.s. like the pic of your car!
ciao

I like our '05 sxt but it's been a bit of a problem child.Had the computer flashed a few times to get the ac to blow cold air... works ok now but on long drives (3hrs or so) something somewhere freezes up and it stops blowing cold . Usually a short stop thaws it out.
Had the steering column boot tsb.....
Had the rear pinion seal tsb....
Had the "crow hopping" tsb ... (ac dripping into the trans)
Right now its at the dealer. 32K and its burning oil .
Oh yeah , there was also a leak in the trans seal a few years back. But all that stuff was fixed under warranty. As for winter driving , we have AWD. That car is a freakin tank in the snow. Good luck shopping.
