Default 05 price change?

I was going over local dealerships inventory last night and notced something strange. Some cars had a $2900 increase to go from the SE to the SXT, some were listed at $3500. Was there a price increase mid year? Or did they add some extras to the SXT package?

That is probaly what they call dealer adjusted market increase. Just a way the dealer makes a little more money. Here in Las Vegas an RT has apx $5000.00 added on to MSRP.

I just went to dodge.com and did a build thing. Seems that they raised te price of the SXT +$150 and destination +$50. There is even one dealer that has both pre- and post-increase MSRP stickered cars.

Canadian GP,
There was a price increase late last year, so I suppose if they had old cars on the lot, that may be the case, but seems like the price increase is probably due to the options that one car has that the other doesn't. I ordered my car in early September and got a price quote at that time. (Good thing) By the time I got my car and paid for it, they wanted an extra $1,000 to $1,500 for the same car on the lot, but since mine was ordered before the price increase, they honored the lower price. That is the only price increase that I know of, beside the "I work here as a Salesman to rip-you-off / Market-Value" mark-ups we've all seen. Hope this helps...
