Default NAV to DVD Conversion '05 Magnum RT

Has anyone attempted to modify the manufacturer's Nav/Audio System (Boston Accoustic) in the '05 Magnum R/T hemi? I am looking to understand what parts/materials are needed to allow me to play music DVD's, movies, etc., then output to rear tv monitors. Trying to keep all steering wheel controls intact as well. Assume I need some modification to wiring harness, RBB connecto, or ??????

Thanks!!

2005 Black Magnum R/T
20 inch Jesse James 38 Special wheels
Magnum lighted running boards
Other mods.

I know that the speakers are Boston Acoustic and so might be the radio but the NAV is made by Alpine. I am not sure how or why they did this but just thought I would tell you that just in case it might point you in the right direction.

I know the Nav system has no AV out so you may be screwed. This is also why you have to use a modulator with an ipod I think you may need to get a new head unit.

Default RE: NAV to DVD Conversion '05 Magnum RT UPDATE

Up-Date on NAV/DVD Conversion:

I worked with Dominic at navwithtv.com to convert my stock mfg NAV/CD/Radio unit to play DVD's. He did a tremendous job. I shipped it UPS express to their operations in Brooklyn this past Wed., he received Thursday am by 10:30 am, had the fix done that day, and I had my unit back on Friday morning 8:00 am (Atlanta).......all in about 2 days. Had the install done yesterday.........works perfect!

Audio had to be FM modulated which I hated to do but Dominic insured me that it would sound better than I thought, and he was right.

This is a solid fix for those who want to keep their mfg stock head unit (Alpine) and play DVD's. Cost-$499.

I am now rockin mobile to Aerosmith.
