Has anyone installed the factory trailer wire harness themselves??? Is it a job for the dealer service dept., or a do-it-yourself job? The hitch seems easy enough to mount. My selling dealer didn't know a single thing about the hitch or the harness so I'm NOT bringing it there!
The folks at OEMDODGEPARTS.COM seem really helpful and I'll buy my parts from them but I don't want to get in over my head on the installation.

 

I got my Mopar hitch and wiring harness from a Dodge dealer>>they gave me a discount on parts>>>I am a retired shop forman and I think you can do it your self>>>The dealer should install the hitch for one hour flat rate labor and the wiring harness for two hours flat rate labor.
