Default Dodge magnum sputter and died

Hey guys, Im having a problem with my magnum. Its my first magnum I bought it with 60k on it. Not a bad car at first sight but then the money sucking begin. First my main seal broke so I spend 600 to fix that put 20 more k on it then now this. The problem is when i start it up it work idle fine until it warm up then it start to have some rough idle when you drive it or lock it into cruise and watch the rpm you can see the rpm jump up and down not much not noticeable but you can feel it. Then when you stop at a red light it would sputter and died, first I thought the simple way is just pop it in neutral and start it up but thats not the case if you do that then it would sputter and die within seconds, you have to complete shut the car all the way off (as in turning the key to off) then start it back up then it would run. It doesnt happen all the time. maybe once every 15 stop or so. I called dodge they say its a bulletin issue about the throttle body. They say i need a software update if it hasnt have it already and if it did i need to replace the throttle body.

Any of you guys have this problem? Dodge say it happen a lot to others too or they just want to take my money and say its something else after they fit this and then that.

What do you guys think it is? If this happen to you guys and its something else let me know please. Thanks in advance

Have the alternator checked, it might be that the battery is dying because its not getting a charge from it.

I just got the alternator checked. run good giving out 14.45 thats good the guy said. I think my pcv need replace and i need to replace my egr as well. Im not convince that the throttle body would be the problem since none of you guys have that problem.

Default same problem

hey guys i thought i fix it. now i even put in a new pcv valve they say doesn't exist in the dodge magnum 2.7 but it's there. car still die in gear. i have to put it in neutral every time i stop and still no code. i went with the dealer rpojection replacing the throttle body and wasn't it. Right now sitting at the MAP sensor, just clean it with some brake cleaner.

I just read this. She was having the same problem so I'm going to copy & paste what she wrote...

"I have a ruptured purge solenoid. A $43 part, not bad. The dealer had to relearn my electronic throttle control also. Get it back Monday. I hope she's fixed!"
