ok so right now i have a 2007 mustang gt and am trying to part with it..i now have a 8 month old and its getting tough putting her in the stang and getting her out, not to mention trying to go to the store...so i came across a 2005 magnum r/t with 90k on the clock...how dependable is this engine and tranny (i know nothing of dodge engines only ford)...should i get it..budget is tight do to the child..i want something with power but functional ya know.

 

I switched from my 1998.5 SVT Contour to my 2006 Magnum R/T AWD, due to the kids and I've been very happy with my purchase. Car is 4.5yrs old and I've had very little issues with it and have 91K on the clock now. Only main gripe I've had are all the squeaks and rattles. I would definitley get rid of the non-kid friendly Mustang for something else and the Magnum would be a pretty good fit, in my opinion.
