I just took out my RTs silver lights and put in the black. Looks much better with my dark blue. The headlites are only held in by 2 8mm bolts. You do have to remove the front facia to get them out with no risk of scratches. The whole nose facia is pretty easy to get off, took me less than an hour start to finish.

open hood, and pull out the center buttons in the retainers (5) that hold the center top of the facia to the support.
drill out or cut off the 3 plastic rivets inside the front edge of both wheel openings.
1 bolt (10mm) on each side at the very top/rear edge of the cover that goes verticaly from the bottom
remove about a dozen 7mm screws across bottom.
take your palm and hit the rear edge of the cover right where the 2 10mm bolts were, knocking toward the front. This pops it off of 2 snaps under the outer edge of headlite.
pull off the front cover, and remove the 2 bolts holding the light. One is at top inside corner, other is about midway on the bottom and pull the light forward. Disconnect the single electrical plug on each one.

install is just the opposite. (I replaced the drilled out rivets in fender with sheet metal screws and screw plates ($4.00)

I have 2 perfect silver RT lights now for sale for $300 pr + shipping ($15.00 ?) list is $256.00 each.
